Language Enrichment is a 30-hour class that provides instruction in the explicit teaching of decoding and spelling skills. The curriculum is designed for the regular classroom.
The first class taught in a school district is for training future facilitators to be used within the district to assist, supervise and support implementation in the classroom. One facilitator is recommended for each group of 8 teachers in a training class. This is a cost cutting measure that allows the Lead Trainer to teach a larger group using the district employees.
To become a future facilitator, a trained teacher must first use the Language Enrichment curriculum in their classroom setting for a specified period of time. Teachers who are Certified Academic Language Therapists can be considered future facilitators once they complete the Language Enrichment training class.
The program costs can be adapted for smaller private schools or individual teachers who are not connected to a school district. For large groups, it can also be adapted to fit teacher schedules.

Developing Metacognitive Skills is a 10-hour class taught over 2 days for classroom teachers in content areas grades 4-8, reading teachers, dyslexia specialists, educational therapists, and adult literacy providers.. This class provides strategies and instruction that will help students improve their vocabulary and comprehension by teaching them to think about their thinking before, while, and after they read.
